Western Engineering Steel Bridge (WESB) at Western University exemplifies the transformative impact of such support. The 2023-2024 Canadian National Steel Bridge Competition (CNSBC) marked another successful year for WESB, showcasing their dedication, skill, and teamwork. At the competition in Québec City, Québec, WESB achieved remarkable feats, including a team record build time of 13:01 and the fastest deconstruction time. This third consecutive appearance underscored not just numerical growth, with a record 12 team members, but also a commitment to nurturing new talent, with half being first-time attendees. Sponsorship facilitates more than just competition readiness; it fosters a close-knit community of aspiring engineers and cultivates lasting bonds.
